Following Alta Via (High Route) no. 2 from Lago Combal, you will walk along one of the most important paths which permitted travellers from long ago to pass from France to Italy and vice versa. Whilst coming across marmots, hawks, and if you are really lucky, deer, chamois and eagles, you will find yourself faced with one of the most fascinating and spectacular views of the Mont Blanc mountain range. Cosy dormitories and relaxing hot showers will relieve your tiredness. At lunchtime, as well as formidable starters and first courses, we offer dishes cooked on Losa (a typical stone heated by fire which was used by shepherds to roast meat, polenta and vegetables).
